Suicide Prevention assembly - Ms. SD Teen's suicide prevention presentation will be Monday, March 26th at 1:20 in the High School gym. Seniors must return from lunch by 1:20 for this presentation.

Football meeting -
will be on Tuesday, March 27th during homeroom. This is for grades 6th - 11th this year. Meet in Coach Christensen's classroom after you check into your homeroom.

Builders Club meeting -
the next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 28th in the elementary gym.

Key Club meeting -
will be during homeroom on Tuesday, April 3rd in the Elementary Gym.

The Grand March list is now in the high school office. All couples need to sign up as soon as possible.
The MS/HS Library will be closed Monday, March 26.
Free tickets are available to middle school students for the Yelduz Shrine Circus in Aberdeen on March 29, 30, & 31. They can be picked up in the Elementary/Middle School Office.
The schedule for the Smarter Balanced Assessment testing is as follows:
* 8th Grade: March 26th-28th
* 7th Grade: April 3rd-6th
* 6th Grade: April 9th-12th
* 5th Grade: April 16th-19th
* 3rd and 4th Grade: April 23rd-27th
Monday, March 26th - 8th grade through 12th grade - 3:30-5:00
Tuesday, March 27th - 7th grade only - 3:30-5:00
Wednesday, March 28th - 9th grade through 12th grade - 3:30 - 5:00
Thursday, March 29th - 8th grade through 12th grade - 3:30-5:00

You have an opportunity to name the Tournament! The term "Sweet 16" is licensed by out of state entities. The SDHSAA is looking for help to name our tourney. This year they used the term "Round of 16".

Webster Volleyball camp July 24-26 grades 4-12. See the attached registration form.
Five days will be added to the calendar due to missing school for water issues and weather. At this time the last day for students is 5/25/2018.
Please do not park between the armory and the west storage building as the west building is temporarily housing the Webster Volunteer Fire Department. Keeping open driveways to the north, south, and in-between the buildings is important for the fire department to have both safe and timely responses to emergencies. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Webster Area Development Corp. is hosting a job fair for students looking for Summer Employment or Post- Graduation Employment. The tables will be set up in the commons, If students do not wish to go check out the opportunities they should stay in class.

Job Fair in the Commons - Wednesday, March 28th
8:30-9:00 = Seniors, 9-9:30 = Juniors
9:30-10:00 = Sophomores, 10-10:30 = Freshman

If a student is at the CTE center or work-release when their class goes they can join in with another grade.
Key Club and Builders Club members are selling Little Caesars for anyone interested. Orders will be due by approximately April 1st.
Key Club will be holding their Girls Have Needs fundraiser on Saturday, March 24th from 11:30-1:00 at St. John's Lutheran Church. Funds raised with be split between Needs Anonymous and the Food Pantry/PACH program. Tickets are available from any Key Club member or at the door for $10 each for the salad luncheon and fashion show.
May is Huntington's Awareness Month and we are going to celebrate our 4th grade student, Maci Olson, on May 1st. so please consider ordering a Team Macie t-shirt and wear it on May 1st or wear purple to celebrate Maci! T-shirt order forms can be picked up in the high school office.
April 13th is Purple Up Day! Show your support of your military kid by wearing purple all day.
This year's NSU Math Contest is Wednesday, April 18th. Anyone interested in going to the Math Contest this year, please let Mrs. Kuecker or Mrs. McCreary know by April 6th.
If any community members would like to sponsor a top honors plaque at the State FCCLA meeting this year, there is an online option for donating as well as a mail-in option.

The Department of Natural Resource Management at SDSU is hosting a camp at Oak Lake Field Station near Astoria, SD on July 16-20, 2018. The Natural Resource Camp is a great way to gain exposure to the world of natural resources, including fish, plants, wildlife, soils, invertebrates, and water. The camp offers opportunities to gain hands-on experiences in natural resource ecology and management. The camp is intended for high school students, entering grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, who have a strong desire to learn more about the natural world or who have an interest in pursuing a career related to natural resources.

Beginning Feb. 1st, the school district will be utilizing Efunds to accept online payments for lunch accounts and armory key card renewals.
If you would like to make online payments, an account can be created through Efunds which is located under Popular Topics on the school district website. Once an account is created a student can be linked to your account using their five digit student number, first name, and last name. If you do not know your child's five digit student ID number, please contact the Business Office at 345-3548.
REMINDER: According to federal regulations which govern our food service program, NO POP is allowed in the lunchroom during the school day.
