FFA Meeting - The January Webster/Waubay FFA meeting is planned for 1:20pm this Wednesday, January 16th. Planning for the SDSU ice cream sales at the farm, home and sport show, FFA Week and field trip are on the agenda.

Robotics Meeting -
will be on Thursday, January 17th in Mrs. Pool's room during homeroom.

All Juniors will have ACT study sessions on the follow dates during Homeroom (Seniors can attend if they wish). Please don't make plans for any other club meetings that will affect these dates for Juniors.

Congratulations to Rana Hegg on being selected as the HOBY nominee for the Sophomore Class. Rana has been sponsored by the Webster Kiwanis Club. Two additional sophomore students can apply to go to HOBY if you wish. This is a teen leadership camp held at DSU on June 6-9, 2019. Cost will be your responsibility and is $225. For the application or more information see Mrs. Miller by Friday Jan. 18th.

Anyone who is planning on attending the SD Class A&B Wrestling Tournament in Rapid City on February 22nd and 23rd may order All-Session tickets in advance through the Webster Area School. All tickets for adults will be reserved seating. Cost of the adult tickets are $45 for an all-session ticket:
(Note: all adult tickets are sold as "Reserved Seats." Class A and Class B schools will have their orders filled and placed on the same side of the arena as seating allows to accommodate the best view angle for the mats. Class "A" seats will be on the west side of the Civic Center while Class "B" seats will be on the east side.)
Cost of the Student Tickets are $25 for an all-session ticket:
(Note: All student tickets are "General Admission" and will allow students to sit in Sections A(Class A) , N (Class B ) or the "upper south Balcony" within the Civic Center.
Tickets must be paid for prior to the order being placed. Tickets are also available at the door for the same all-session price or at per session prices of $14 for adults and $8 for students. Anyone interested in placing an order can contact the Webster Area Business office at 345-3548. The last day to place an order will be MONDAY JANUARY 28. The ticket order will be mailed on Tuesday January 29.
The Lake Region Electric applications are now available for the trip to Washington, DC to learn about politics, community development, and today's social issues or the youth excursion in North Dakota which is an awesome opportunity to learn about how electricity works and careers in this field. Award winners will receive fully paid trips to one of these events. If you are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior and have LREA electric in your home you are eligible to apply. See Mrs. Miller for details.
