MS/HS Announcements

Key Club meeting - will be Tuesday, September 25th during homeroom in the computer lab.
The MS/HS Library will be closed Friday, Sept 21st.
Any FCCLA member interested in babysitting at Parent Teacher Conferences come see Miss VanderVorst in her room during homeroom either Friday or Monday.
Picture day will be held on Thursday, September 27 for grades 6th-11th and Preschool. Wednesday, September 26th will be photos for PreK-5th grade.
Students--Please do not park in the vacant lot across from the HS entrance. The reasons are obvious when the ground is wet - clay on the street, the sidewalk, the steps, and in the hallways. We will install barricades in the near future. Thank you for your cooperation.
During our Clark/Willow Lake game on September 28, we will have Parents Night, but we also are going to have Military Appreciation Night. Please consider showing your support for our military by purchasing a Military Appreciation t-shirt. These shirts will be on sale until Friday, September 21 (short time frame but this guarantees them for Friday's game). If any questions, please email Tanner.Christensen@k12.sd.us. Forms can be picked up at the high school office.
FFA dues are $5.00 until September 20th...after the 20th they will be $20!

10-12th grade students can apply. Space is limited and applications will be submitted in the order they are received. See Mrs. Miller for the application.

There will be a free flu immunization clinic at Webster Area School on October 17 starting at 11:30 AM. This year, insurance information will not be required as the immunizations are intended to exercise the local point of dispensing (POD) plan. POD sites are organized by the state to quickly get medications to a large population in the event of a large infectious disease outbreak or other public health emergency, including bio terrorism and pandemic influenza. The POD sites receive funding from the South Dakota Department of Health through its federal preparedness grants. It should be noted that next year it will once again be necessary to submit insurance information. Attached are the necessary forms. Please return the consent form for each child to receive a vaccine to the school by October 8th. You may print them yourself or forms will also be available in each office and the nurse office.

There are still Yearbooks from the 2017-2018 school year available to purchase. If you did not prepay for one last Spring, you may still buy one for $35 at the high school office.
