Track Meeting - there will be a homeroom meeting on Wednesday, January 17th in Coach Gangle's room for anyone interested in attending the college indoor track meet at SDSU on Saturday.

Fishing Club meeting -
in Mr. Looyenga's room during homeroom on Wednesday, January 17th.

Robotics meeting -
in Mrs. Pool's room during homeroom on Wednesday, January 17th to finalize details for the Farm and Home Show.

Builders Club Meeting -
will be on Wednesday, January 17th in the elementary gym.

Webster/Waubay FFA meeting -
is planned for Friday, January 19th during home room in the Ag room.

Homeroom assembly -
Key Club is sponsoring a presentation by Miss SD Teen on suicide prevention on Monday, January 22nd during homeroom for 9th - 12th grade students. Middle school will attend from 2:20-3:15.

FCCLA Meeting -
FCCLA is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd in the FACS classroom during homeroom. Anyone attending State FCCLA Meeting must attend!

Key Club will meet Wednesday, January 24th during homeroom in the elementary gym.

The boys basketball game with Florence-Henry has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 20th with JV starting at 2:00 and Varsity to follow.
Special Olympics will be hosting a potato bake fundraiser being served on Friday night at the Clark-Webster boys basketball game in Clark. Freewill donation, serving beginning at 5:30.
Key Club is sponsoring a presentation by Miss SD Teen on suicide prevention on January 22nd from 1:20-2:15 for 9-12th grade in the HS gym and for middle school from 2:20-3:15.

Webster/Waubay Knights of Columbus Substance Abuse Poster Contest:
Posters must reflect either the theme of Alcohol Awareness and Abuse or Drug Awareness and Abuse.
Posters should be 11x17 inches in size and the contestant's name, age, and phone number should be printed on the back of the poster.
Entry forms are available in the school office and MUST be submitted with the poster.
Contest is open to all youth ages 8-14.
Posters are due in the Elementary Office by Fri., Jan. 19.

Advance ticket sales for the State Wrestling Tournament are available in the Webster Area Business Office. All sessions Reserved Seats are $45. Student General Admission seating is $25 for all sessions. Per session tickets are available at the door.
State A and B Wrestling is combined this year in the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls on February 23-24.
Deadline for pre-order through the school is January 26th.
We are accepting nominations for the Webster Area TEACHER of the Year and for the Webster Area SUPPORT STAFF MEMBER of the Year. If you know a teacher or support staff member that goes above and beyond the call of their duties and is worthy of recognition, please complete a nomination form. Forms are available in the Elem/MS Office and the HS Office and are due by February 22nd.
Webster Area After Prom Raffle tickets are ready to be picked up at the high school office. Each Junior and Senior student will be responsible for selling 3 books of raffle tickets as a fundraiser in order to attend the Banquet and After Prom Party. Any students that sell more than 2 books will get their name put in for a cash prize drawing for each additional book sold. ALL raffle tickets (sold and unsold) and money need to be returned in the envelope to Jennifer Volesky in the High School office by February 12, 2018. The drawings for the raffle will be February 16, 2018 at the basketball game. All money raised will go towards the banquet, entertainment and prizes. Presentation College Saints Baseball team is hosting Youth Baseball camps on January 27th and February 3rd. The camps are for boys in grades 4th - 12th. If you are interested stop at the high school office and pick up an information sheet with registration details.
REMINDER: According to federal regulations which govern our food service program, NO POP is allowed in the lunchroom during the school day.
