FFA Meeting - the next Webster/Waubay FFA meeting is planned for Tuesday, January 21st at 1:20 pm in the agricultural education room.

Anyone interested in going to watch an SDSU track meet should attend a meeting Tuesday, January 21st during homeroom in Gangle's room.

FCCLA Meeting on Wednesday, January 22nd during homeroom; for those interested in attending state you must attend!

Prom Planning Meeting - will be on Friday, January 24th in Mrs. Block's room for any Juniors who are interested.

ROBOTICS - on Friday, January 24th there will be an 6th and 7th grade INTERN ONLY Robotics meeting in Lab 2. Shianda has a couple of things to go over with you that pertains to the rest of the year.

Key Club Meeting - Key Club will meet Wednesday, January 29th in computer lab 2.

Anyone who is planning on attending the SD Class A&B Wrestling Tournament in Sioux Falls at the Denny Sanford Premier Center may order All-Session tickets in advance through the Webster Area School. All tickets for adults will be reserved seating. Cost of the adult tickets are $50 for an all-session ticket:
All adult tickets are sold as "Reserved Seats." Seats will be filled in the Lower Bowl of the Arena first, followed by upper bowl seating.

Cost of the Student Tickets are $28 for an all-session ticket:
Note: All student tickets are "General Admission" and will allow students to sit in the designated student sections (201-206 of the Upper Deck) If a student wishes to sit in any other section, they must purchase a full-priced reserved -seat ticket ($50)

Tickets must be paid for prior to the order being placed. Tickets are also available at the door for the same all-session price or at per session prices of $14 for adults and $8 for students. Anyone interested in placing an order can contact the Webster Area Business office at 345-3548. The last day to place an order will be TUESDAY, JANUARY 28. The ticket order will be mailed on Wednesday January 29.

There are NO REFUNDS on Ticket orders
All seniors will be taking the national career readiness test (NCRC) on the morning of January 22nd. See your email for more details.
There will be a Parent After Prom/ Banquet planning meeting January 22nd at 6:30 pm at the Galley. All junior and senior parents welcome!
Driver Education class will be offered for Webster Area 8th grade students or older, and some 7th grade students. Deadline to register with payment is February 20, 2020. Registration forms were also given to 7th graders that turn 14 before the end of December (first come first serve basis). If space remains, registration for out of district students will start at a later date. Class days are May 26-29, 2020. Questions, contact Craig Case.
Do you know a teacher or support staff member that goes above and beyond and deserves recognition for their continued efforts? Nominate someone for the Webster Area Teacher of the Year and the Webster Area Support Staff Member of the Year. Nomination forms are available in each office. Completed nomination forms are due by 3:30 PM Friday, January 31, 2020. Please help us recognize our dedicated staff!

Starting September 3rd there will be a 2nd Option Lunch Meal for Grades 6-12:
If students do not choose the main entree they may have:
yogurt cup, cheese stick, granola bar, salad bar, and milk
It will be the same cost as the main entree meal.
The school district began utilizing Efunds to accept online payments for lunch accounts and armory key card renewals.

If you would like to make online payments, an account can be created through Efunds which is located under Popular Topics on the school district website. Once an account is created a student can be linked to your account using their five digit student number, first name, and last name. If you do not know your child's five digit student ID number, please contact the Business Office at 345-3548.
