FCCLA will be having slushee sales on Thursday during homeroom!
 
Congrats to our Homecoming Royalty - King Coby Reetz and Queen Abby Snell!
 
The cheerleaders will be painting paws in driveways. 1 paw for $15 or 2 for $25. Call or text Ashley at 605-265-1515 or contact one of the cheerleaders if you want a paw painted for you.
 
Powder Puff football will be held on Friday, September 20th at 2:30 p.m. at the football field. The sign up sheet is in the High School Office. There is no cost to sign up! Open for grades 9-12.
 
HOMECOMING TAILGATE will be held in the front parking lot of the CTE building on Friday, September 20th from 5pm-7pm. Burger (with cheese and pickles), chips and beverage for $6. Sponsored by the Webster Area Robocats.
 
The homecoming theme for 2019 is MOVIES.

Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, September 20th. Students will decorate floats in the morning with a Pep Rally scheduled for 11:40. The parade will begin at 1:30.

Wednesday 9/18- High School in the Movies Day (jocks, nerds, etc.)
Thursday 9/19 - Class Color Day
Freshmen- red, Sophomores- black, Juniors- yellow, Seniors- gray

Friday 9/20 - Spirit Day

 
There will be a FCCLA Meeting Monday, September 23rd at 6:15PM, come hungry we will have Chili! Also, remember your dues!
 
Order forms for Dig Pink shirts are available in the high school office. Orders are due September 19th. The Dig Pink volleyball game is October 15th.
 
FFA members please pay your dues of $5 by this Friday (9-20-19) to avoid a late fee.

FFA T-shirts will be ready to order soon, please contact Brie Duerre or Cheyanne Deibert for more information.
 
An influenza vaccination clinic for school-age children will be held at the Webster Area School on Thursday, October 3rd from 10am-5pm. The Department of Health now bills insurance for influenza vaccine, so please read the instructions below.

Vaccine provided to children covered by Medicaid or private insurance will be billed to those insurances. If your child has insurance coverage, a copy of the Medicaid or insurance card must be attached to the consent form. If you are unable to make a copy, please contact the Day County Community Health Office for additional options.Children not covered by Medicaid or private insurance may qualify for vaccination through a federal vaccine program. Please contact the Day County Community Health office to see if your child is eligible. Adult vaccines will also be available during this time. Any Juniors or Seniors interested in spending a week in Pierre as a Legislative Page, see Mrs. Miller for the application. They are due October 15th.
 
Any Key Club or Student Council member interested in helping out in the concession stand at any of the home events, please see Mr. Block.

Starting September 3rd there will be a 2nd Option Lunch Meal for Grades 6-12:
If students do not choose the main entree they may have:
yogurt cup, cheese stick, granola bar, salad bar, and milk
It will be the same cost as the main entree meal.
 
This is a reminder that students entering 6th grade have vaccination requirements in order to attend public schools in South Dakota. Please see attached documents explaining all requirements. If your child has not yet received these vaccinations please do so ASAP and return appropriate paperwork to the school nurses office. The school district began utilizing Efunds to accept online payments for lunch accounts and armory key card renewals.

If you would like to make online payments, an account can be created through Efunds which is located under Popular Topics on the school district website. Once an account is created a student can be linked to your account using their five digit student number, first name, and last name. If you do not know your child's five digit student ID number, please contact the Business Office at 345-3548.
